With lockdown keeping us all inside, there's gonna be two kind of gals during Eid this year. One who would still want to dress up in sparkles and her best clothes, whilst the other wants her best clothes to come with a hella stretchy waistband...and not gonna lie I'm feeling both this year! I plan to dress up during the morning/mid-day and then get into some luxuriously soft and fluffy pjs for the afternoon/evening! So here's two having two Eid outfit inspiration posts this year - this ones for the gal who wants to dress up!
Although ladies before jumping in I just want to remind you that this is a really good opportunity to wear those items that have been sitting in the wardrobe for a while; that you've not been able to depart with.
THE OCCASION DRESS/COAT
If you want to speak volumes, whilst staying minimal yet modest this is the look for you. It's so comfy too as you're literally throwing on a coat/dress on top of a straight-leg pants...you could be wearing a PJ top underneath and no one would know…if that doesn’t sway you then I don’t know what will! And am I wearing a PJ top under that occasion dress…now that’s a secret I’ll never tell..you know you love me. XOXO Gossip girl (if you know you know :P)
MAXI SKIRT FUN
If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know how obsessed I am with skirts. I recently purchased a pleated maxi skirt from H&M and I don’t think I’ll ever find one that’s dreamier. It’s the perfect shade of brown but somehow a beautiful rose tone too…shimmery but not too much where it crosses the tacky line…and just the right amount of floatiness (yes...yet another word that’s not a word but I’m totally making it into a word).

I’LL TAKE SOMETHING STATEMENT PLEASE
Whether it’s a dress or a pair of pants…I want it statement. Give me all the ruffles, frills, lace and balloon sleeves please (try saying ‘sleeves please’ over and over really fast…it’s hard right?! Sorry to interrupt, this blogpost is just a refection of my mind...scattered lol). This section is a bit of a mish-mash of all things statement so hopefully you’ll find some inspiration here if the above has failed…
